Saturday 25 June why not celebrate Armed Forces Day at home with some streamers and/or by flying a flag?
A get-together for family and friends will be a great way to show your support for the Armed Forces community. A picnic in the park, themed barbeque, full blown knees up in your living room or a street party, are all great ways to celebrate with friends and neighbours. Help and advice on what makes a street party successful can be found at www.streetparty.org.uk and you can get hold of Armed Forces Day Flags and other resources to decorate your event.
So paint the kids’ faces red white and blue, unfurl an Armed Forces Day Flag and maybe even raise a glass yourself (well, it is a party after all). Thousands of people all over the country will be doing the same - join them and be part of this great national event!
